New Works

Go with the Flow

I find my greatest creative freedom and joy while working in the Abstracted space.

I get lost in the shapes, textures, and spontaneity! This piece(s) is also consistent with my love for all things geometric & rectilinear! :)

A joy to create!

Promise of New Beginnings

A semi abstracted Floral that features quiet, yet rich colour, and no shortage of textural interest.

I am always surprised how these works that begin in a state of pure abstraction/chaos, can evolve into these little gems!

Please enjoy!

Reminiscing

SOLD

Late winter, and I must be feeling spring is upon us. The florals have been flowing, and it has been a joy to create each one.

This piece has been collected, in large part as reminiscence of a loved one that been lost, but forever close to their hearts. Someone who adored gardening, and flowers.

This is not the first time a piece of mine has been collected for this reason. However, as an Artist, I do feel it to be the highest honour I can receive for the work I create. :)

Glen Drive (Twin Peaks)

This is a loosely based painting, inspired by two residences I came upon while strolling, in the Kensington-Cedar Cottage neighbourhood of Vancouver. Two heritage homes, one behind the other, of identical structure, and very steeply pitched rooflines. They were striking to me in their simplicity, and I couldn’t help but wonder their history.

This painting is rich in texture, and the collage elements bring a sense of authentic interest to the overall scene.

Do enjoy!
